The OSB-VUB is an interdisciplinary, participatory network that unites (former) students and sympathizers around the values of free research and liberal humanism. It gives its members the opportunity to develop themselves.

In this way, the OSB-VUB is a unifying force within the VUB community and an ambassador of these values.

The OSB-VUB has been the alumni association of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel for over 55 years. We have approximately 10,000 members. With our activities, we want to strengthen the ties of former students and further expand the alumni community of the VUB.
